Activate CUPS

chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.cups
/etc/rc.d/rc.cups start
  • CUPS will now run at each boot.

Add a printer

  • The simplest way to manager printers with CUPS is to do it through a web browser:
http://127.0.0.1:631

or 

http://ip_of_your_OP:631
  • The login/password are root/root_password .
