I like to keep the topic PND straight forward due to it's massive relevance. So we should use PND as an general introduction, PND FAQ as a general FAQ style and of course libPND for introducing in development with PXML --ABC 11:39, 27 April 2011 (MEST) | I like to keep the topic PND straight forward due to it's massive relevance. It would be a good idea to merge them (but the questions on this page are a bit more newbie-friendly, so they should be listed first in the FAQ - basically, I propose that this whole page could be copied into "PND:FAQ" as the FIRST SECTION, so "The PND system" - which is currently the first section there - would now be section 2). | + | :I think you're right about this. The other problem is that the pages, though mostly accurate, are outdated by a few years, as witnessed by the fact that they still mention PMenu even though that hasn't existed for years. We really need a dev or a team member to take a look at both and fix the potential errors. Esn 09:06, 29 April 2011 (MEST) | :However, that's not the only problem here. This section mentions changing the clock speed, but Overclocking seems to cover the current method. I'm not sure... --Tsh 01:24, 25 February 2011 (MET)
Merge with PND:FAQ
Hi, this article is pretty much like a FAQ. What about outsourcing this questions and strip it back to a very basic "a PND is XYZ and you use it like XYZ..."? --ABC 08:14, 23 April 2011 (MEST) I like to keep the topic PND straight forward due to it's massive relevance. So we should use PND as an general introduction, PND FAQ as a general FAQ style and of course libPND for introducing in development with PXML --ABC 11:39, 27 April 2011 (MEST)
- I think you're right about this. This page and PND:FAQ do significantly overlap. It would be a good idea to merge them (but the questions on this page are a bit more newbie-friendly, so they should be listed first in the FAQ - basically, I propose that this whole page except for "Advanced topics" could be copied into "PND:FAQ" as the FIRST SECTION, so "The PND system" - which is currently the first section there - would now be section 2. "Advanced topics" can be merged with "Advanced information" in the PND:FAQ article).
- However, that's not the only problem here. The other problem is that the pages, though mostly accurate, are outdated by a few years, as witnessed by the fact that they still mention PMenu even though that hasn't existed for years. We really need a dev or a team member to take a look at both and fix the potential errors. Esn 09:06, 29 April 2011 (MEST)
